Before humans existed, Allah told the angels He was placing a khalifah, a caretaker, on earth. He created Adam with His own hands, breathed the soul into him, and taught him the names of all things. The angels prostrated in respect. One being refused: Iblis, burning with pride, “I am better than him.”
Adam and his wife Hawwa lived in Paradise with one single rule: stay away from one tree. Iblis whispered and schemed until they ate from it. But here is where Islam's story of humanity turns warm: they owned their mistake, turned back to Allah, and He forgave them completely. They came to earth not as a punishment, but on a mission, to live for Allah and find the way home to Paradise.

Lesson: You will slip. What defines you is how fast you turn back.
