The long lists that circulate - Nuh's ark landing, Ibrahim saved from the fire, Yusuf leaving prison, Ayyub cured, Yunus freed from the whale, all on this one day - are not established. Scholars class those narrations as weak or fabricated. The day's real weight is the fast, which expiates the year before it, and the sunnah of joining the ninth to it.
